Since we missed the call for competitors in 2017, we decided to take some creative liberties with PCMagazine's 2017 competitive analysis of Small Business Accounting Software. We hope to be in the 2018 comparative review, but we can assure you that will never happen, because if it did, there wouldn't be any competition left for them to review and promote in 2019!!
" Just look at those check marks, would you!! We hit all the boxes!!"
Ah yes, the power of creative publishing, and paradigm shifting technology is amazing.
These comparison charts are always fascinating because the items chosen for rating and comparison often times have nothing to do with core accounting functionality nor functionality that should be found in accounting software.
The charts often times don't highlight core accounting features that are omitted, so users can't realize what each software is lacking.
They also never rate on software bloat nor illogical work flows, which is a huge problem in almost all solutions.
In our competitive analysis below, we really do hit all the boxes, with one minor fudge on live support. We fudged because you can't find any of those solutions with remotely the same level of written documentation we provide -- and if you did -- they might not need live support either...
